On August 10, the all-Russian Builder's Day was celebrated in "Russia" State Central Concert Hall. This large-scale event was traditionally organized by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Land Policy, Construction and Housing and Utilities.

The main themes of this event were focused on creation of conditions for high-tech, innovative and efficient development of developer projects to satisfy the needs of our compatriots for comfortable living conditions.
Alexander Dvoynykh, Head of Administration of Domodedovo urban district, spoke about economic development of the municipality and complex development of territories as the basis for fulfillment of social norms and obligations to the population.
The report of Olga Dmitrieva, General Director of Coalco Development managing company, was based on successful experience of a large development project that has been realized, Yuzhny residential area, which is a part of the Greater Domodedovo territory complex development project.
The key issues were discussed by Leonid Stavitsky, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Pyatigor, Deputy General Director for Utility Connection and Services Development of Moscow United Power Grid Company.
During the round-table and other discussions, the Ministry representatives and developers discussed the prospects of housing construction and influence of the information technology industry on the work. Besides, the employees of the leading construction companies exchanged opinions on a number of relevant issues, including elimination of administrative barriers.
The best representatives of construction industry in Russia were awarded as part of the all-Russian Builder's Day. The best professionals in this sphere received state awards from RF First Vice Prime Minister, Igor Shuvalov, and institutional awards were given by Mikhail Men, Head of the Russian Federation for Land Policy, Construction and Housing and Utilities.
The first event, where the professionals in the construction sphere were honored, was held in the USSR 60 years ago, on August 12, 1956, in accordance with the Decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR "On Establishment of the Annual Builder's Day Celebration" dated September 6, 1956. This holiday was to be celebrated every second Sunday of August.
